CHICMAX Repurchases 0.32% of Outstanding H-Shares, Adds to Treasury Stock

Bulletin Express09-02

Shanghai Chicmax Cosmetic Co., Ltd. (“CHICMAX”) disclosed that it repurchased 650,000 Hong Kong-listed H-shares on 2 September 2026. The buyback, executed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, was conducted at prices ranging between HKD 20.84 and HKD 22.48 per share, for a total consideration of HKD 14.09 million.

Following the transaction, CHICMAX’s outstanding share count (excluding treasury shares) declined by 0.32% to 205.30 million shares, while treasury shares increased from 575,000 to 1.23 million. The company’s total issued share capital remains unchanged at 206.52 million shares, as the repurchased stock has been retained in treasury rather than cancelled.

The buyback formed part of a broader repurchase mandate approved by shareholders on 8 May 2026, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 20.64 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 1.23 million shares, representing 0.59% of the issued share base at the mandate date.

In line with Hong Kong listing rules, CHICMAX is subject to a 30-day moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares, effective until 2 October 2026.
