Photronics' stock surged 7.37% in pre-market trading following the release of its first quarter fiscal 2026 financial results.
The photomask maker reported quarterly earnings of $0.61 per share, beating analyst consensus estimates of $0.54 by 14.02%. Revenue for the quarter was $225.066 million, exceeding expectations of $220.643 million by 2.00% and representing a 6.1% year-over-year increase.
Photronics also achieved record high-end IC revenue for the second consecutive quarter and issued guidance for the second quarter, expecting revenue between $212 million and $220 million with non-GAAP diluted EPS between $0.49 and $0.55. The company's ongoing facility expansion plans aim to diversify its geographic revenue mix.
