Jaguar Land Rover China has recently announced a series of personnel changes. Former President and CEO of Jaguar Land Rover China, Pan Qing, has been promoted to Global Procurement Director of Jaguar Land Rover, while retaining his role as President of Jaguar Land Rover China. Tim Howard, previously the Chief Financial Officer of Jaguar Land Rover China, will assume the position of CEO of Jaguar Land Rover China.
It is understood that Wu Chen, Chief Commercial Officer of Jaguar Land Rover China, and his team will report to Tim Howard. Howard will follow a dual reporting structure: for business growth and commercial operations, he will report to Lennard Hoornik, Global Chief Growth Officer; for finance, joint venture matters, and other functional areas, he will report to Richard Molyneux, Global Chief Financial Officer.
In an internal letter, Pan Qing stated that the current automotive industry landscape is complex and rapidly evolving, and the global procurement function has been elevated to a core level within the global management board. He expressed honor in taking on this responsibility, noting that the trust and opportunity are built on the solid foundation of colleagues' unity and hard work over the past nine years. He extended sincere gratitude to every partner who has worked alongside him.
Additionally, Pan Qing will continue to serve as President of Jaguar Land Rover China. While continuing to directly oversee government affairs and strategic partnerships, he will ensure strategic coordination of Jaguar Land Rover's business operations in China.
