AI application stocks in the Hong Kong market experienced a significant rise during the afternoon session. KNOWLEDGE ATLAS surged more than 10%, reaching a new record high with its share price climbing above 1,400 Hong Kong dollars, having touched a peak of 1,416 Hong Kong dollars. MiniMax saw an increase of over 7%, while Xun Ce rose by more than 6%.
On the news front, the Hang Seng Indexes Company announced the results of its quarterly index review for the first quarter of 2026 last Friday. According to the announcement, the number of constituents in the Hang Seng TECH Index will remain at 30. MiniMax-W and KNOWLEDGE ATLAS have been included, while Kingdee International Software Group and Kingsoft Corporation have been removed. This marks the first time since the index's launch in 2020 that pure-play, native AI large model leaders have been added to the Hang Seng TECH Index.
