Singapore Stocks to Watch: CapitaLand Ascott Reit, Singapore Airlines

The following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Monday (Nov 21):

The managers of CapitaLand Ascott Real Estate Investment Trust (CapitaLand Ascott Reit) and CapitaLand Ascott Business Trust said on Friday (Nov 18) that Ascott Reit MTN - a wholly-owned subsidiary of the trustee of CapitaLand Ascott Reit - has issued S$165 million of 5 percent notes due May 18, 2026.

Airlines and regulators are pushing to have just one pilot in the cockpit of passenger jets instead of two. It would lower costs and ease pressure from crew shortages, but placing such responsibility on a single person at the controls is unsettling for some.
