On December 12, the "Agricultural Wholesale Price 200 Index" increased by 0.57 points compared to the previous day, reaching 130.02. The "Vegetable Basket" product wholesale price index also rose by 0.67 points to 132.87.
As of 14:00 today, the national average wholesale price of pork stood at 17.50 yuan/kg, down 0.7% from yesterday. Beef prices rose 0.4% to 66.24 yuan/kg, while lamb prices increased 1.5% to 63.16 yuan/kg. Egg prices edged up 0.3% to 7.49 yuan/kg, and broiler chicken prices climbed 1.0% to 17.90 yuan/kg.
The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables rose 0.3% to 5.95 yuan/kg, while the average price of six major fruits increased 0.7% to 7.56 yuan/kg.
In the seafood category, crucian carp prices rose 0.1% to 19.16 yuan/kg, while carp prices fell 1.8% to 13.87 yuan/kg. Silver carp prices declined 1.2% to 10.32 yuan/kg, whereas large hairtail prices surged 2.5% to 39.72 yuan/kg.
Among the 46 key agricultural products monitored today, the top five gainers were Chinese cabbage (up 4.3%), Kyoho grapes (up 3.5%), pears (up 3.5%), large hairtail (up 2.5%), and carrots (up 2.1%). The biggest decliners were pineapple (down 4.0%), oyster mushrooms (down 1.9%), carp (down 1.8%), ginger (down 1.5%), and radish (down 1.4%).
