Direct Drive Technology (06731) announced that on the date of this announcement, the Company and China Rare Earth Group Innovation Technology Co., Ltd. (China Rare Earth Innovation) have signed a strategic cooperation agreement.
According to the strategic cooperation agreement, both parties will establish a regular technical exchange mechanism and jointly carry out research and development of high-performance magnetic materials such as neodymium iron boron, magnetic focusing rings, and radial magnetic rings. Combining upstream rare earth resources with the technical requirements of motor application scenarios, they will develop high-performance magnetic material products suitable for direct drive motors.
Both parties will focus on core needs such as magnetic material performance optimization, motor miniaturization, and high torque output to carry out joint research, promoting the application of direct drive power modules in markets such as embodied robots, smart home devices, industrial automation, and high-end medical equipment.
At the industrial chain level, both parties will collaborate to connect the domestic industrial chain from rare earth new materials to robot power components, achieving value co-creation across the upstream and downstream. At the same time, they will actively explore integrated industry-finance models such as equity investment and industrial funds to empower high-quality projects in magnetic materials and direct drive motors, and promote joint training of professional talents in the field and technological iteration.
This cooperation will leverage the respective industrial advantages of both parties to promote the deep integration of rare earth new materials and robot terminal applications, complete the collaborative innovation chain of key materials and core components, and jointly drive the independent controllability and high-quality development of key links in China's robot industry.
