HKT Maintains Stable Capital Structure and Public Float in July 2026 Monthly Return

HKT Trust and HKT Limited (collectively “HKT”) filed their Monthly Return for the period ended 31 July 2026, confirming no changes to share capital, issued shares or treasury shares during the month.

Key highlights

1. Authorised share capital unchanged • Ordinary shares: 20.00 billion authorised at HKD 0.0005 par, equivalent to HKD 10.00 million. • Preference shares: 20.00 billion authorised at HKD 0.0005 par, also HKD 10.00 million. • Combined authorised share capital remains HKD 20.00 million.

2. Issued share stapled units steady • Issued share stapled units (comprising Ordinary Shares, Preference Shares and Units): 7.58 billion, with zero treasury shares. • No issuances, cancellations or transfers were recorded in July, leaving total issued shares unchanged at 7.58 billion.

3. Public float fully compliant • Directors confirmed that, as at 31 July 2026, HKT met the Main Board’s minimum public float requirement of 25% for all share classes.

4. Share option scheme activity • 2024 Share Stapled Units Option Scheme: no grants, exercises, cancellations or lapses in July. • Outstanding options remain nil; however, up to 757.97 million share stapled units are still available for future issuance under the scheme.

5. No other equity-linked instruments • The company reported no warrants, convertibles, or other share-issuing arrangements during the month.

With no equity movements and affirmed compliance with listing rules, HKT’s capital structure and shareholder base remained unchanged through July 2026.
