Lopal Tech Releases 2025 ESG Report: 100 % ISO 14001 Coverage, RMB 461 Million R&D Spend, Customer Satisfaction at 90.1 %

Lopal Tech (02465) has published its 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, detailing progress across governance, environmental management, social responsibility and product quality.

Governance and Compliance • The Board convened one annual and six extraordinary general meetings; female directors represent 20 % of the 10-member board. • ISO 37001 anti-bribery and ISO 27001 information-security certifications were obtained; no data-privacy incidents occurred. • Anti-corruption training reached 1,775 employees (40.49 % coverage).

Innovation and Quality • R&D investment totalled RMB 461.00 million, equivalent to 5.16 % of core-business revenue. • The company employed 641 R&D staff, 20.28 % of whom hold master’s or doctoral degrees, and filed 111 new patent applications, lifting its authorised portfolio to 514 patents. • 94.12 % of operating locations are certified to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949; there were no product recalls in 2025. • Overall customer-satisfaction score reached 90.1 %.

Environmental Performance • All 17 subsidiaries are now certified to ISO 14001; no environmental violations were recorded. • Waste-water, waste-gas and solid-waste compliance rates stood at 100 %. • Product carbon-footprint certification was secured for “Lopal No. 1” and “Lopal Range-extended” lines. • Photovoltaic installations at the Xinguang lubricant base generated about 1.20 million kWh of green power; Indonesia operations recycle over 1,500 tonnes of condensate water annually. • Recovered lithium at >96 % and nickel/cobalt at >99.5 % from battery-recycling activities. • Eight subsidiaries hold ISO 50001 energy-management certification.

Workforce and Safety • Training reached 100 % of employees, averaging 36.23 hours per person. • Occupational-health and safety goals were fully achieved with zero fatalities; 18 subsidiaries maintain ISO 45001 certification. • Employee welfare enhancements include expanded promotion channels, global talent programmes and upgraded benefits.

Supply-Chain and Community • Implementation of a “3 + 2” core-and-backup supplier model produced full ESG assessments across 1,223 suppliers. • Annual public-welfare donations amounted to RMB 0.25 million; employees contributed 31 volunteer-service hours in 2025.

Strategic Milestones • The 30,000-tonne-per-year lithium-iron-phosphate cathode plant in Indonesia began shipments in January 2025. • LG Energy Solution agreed to acquire a 20 % stake in Liyuan Indonesia for USD 15.97 million, deepening supply-chain collaboration. • The first “LOPAL DAY” global technology conference showcased the company’s “4-3-2-1” innovation achievements.

Lopal Tech reiterated its commitment to reduce operational greenhouse-gas-emission intensity (Scopes 1 & 2) by 20 % and water-use intensity by 20 % by 2030, while maintaining its target of a fully certified, zero-violation environmental footprint.
