Citi issued a research report stating that Tencent Holdings (00700) has become a strategic partner of the 33rd Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Meeting held in Shenzhen from November 18 to 19, which represents important recognition and validation of its enterprise artificial intelligence, cloud, and digital ecosystem capabilities.

The bank reiterated its "Buy" rating on Tencent with a target price of HK$755, and believes that the recent weakness in the stock price offers a buying opportunity.

The bank believes that this partnership will allow Tencent to showcase its generative artificial intelligence and cloud technology systems on an important global stage.

The related deployment is expected to significantly enhance Tencent's brand awareness among international representatives, while also driving more overseas users to become familiar with and adopt the WeChat mini-program ecosystem and local merchant network.
