An incident involving a tanker being hit by an unidentified projectile near Oman was reported to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) on Thursday.
The vessel, located 19 nautical miles east of Al Hasab, Oman, reported minor structural damage to its port side.
The safety of the crew has been confirmed, and there have been no reports of any environmental impact from the event.
