The rare earth and permanent magnet sector weakened in afternoon trading, with JLMAG Rare-Earth Co., Ltd. and China Rare Earth Resources and Technology Co., Ltd. both falling more than 3%. Other stocks in the sector, including Jiugao Tech and Guangdong Rising Nonferrous, also declined.
