Years of observation records indicate that the number of wild bird species at Huangtai Lake has grown from 128 to 196.

Recently, the Ministry of Transport issued an acceptance opinion on the first batch of special pilot projects for the "Optimization and Enhancement of Port Functions" under the Transport Power strategy. The intelligent transformation pilot at the Jingtang Container Terminal of Hebei Port Group's Tangshan Port successfully passed acceptance and was selected as a typical example of pilot task experience.
This successful acceptance marks a significant achievement for Hebei Port Group in implementing the Transport Power strategy and enhancing port functionality. It was reported that in 2023, the group initiated an intelligent container terminal upgrade project at Jingtang Port, establishing Hebei Province's first fully automated container berth. This project was subsequently selected for the Ministry of Transport's first batch of port function optimization pilots, one of the ten shared scenarios for Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei collaboration, and one of Tangshan's top ten benchmark application scenarios.
