I-CABLE COMM (SEHK: 01097) has announced a proposal to change its corporate name. The board has recommended altering the company's English name from "i-CABLE Communications Limited" to "CTF Media & Entertainment Limited". Correspondingly, the Chinese name would be changed from "i-CABLE Communications Limited" to "Chow Tai Fook Media & Entertainment Company Limited".
This proposed name change is subject to approval by shareholders through a special resolution at a general meeting. Additionally, it requires formal approval from the Registrar of Companies in Hong Kong before it can be officially implemented.
