Beijing Airport Expects RMB10–20 Million Net Profit for H1 2026, Rebounding From RMB164 Million Loss

Bulletin Express07-20

Beijing Capital International Airport Company Limited (Beijing Airport) issued a positive profit alert indicating an anticipated net profit of approximately RMB10.00 million to RMB20.00 million for the six months ended 30 June 2026. This marks a sharp turnaround from the RMB164 million net loss recorded in the same period of 2025.

The Board attributes the expected return to profitability to two primary factors: 1. A rebound in international aviation traffic driven by recovering market demand, which lifted revenue for the period. 2. Continued initiatives to strengthen cost controls and enhance trade receivables management, contributing to improved operating efficiency.

The disclosed figures are based on the company’s latest unaudited management accounts and may be subject to adjustments. Beijing Airport plans to release its formal interim results by the end of August 2026, followed by the publication of its interim report in line with Hong Kong Listing Rules.

Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s shares until the official results are announced.
