Deep News2025-12-31

On December 31, the "Xiongan·Vitality" thematic Chinese painting exhibition opened at the Xiongan Library. The exhibition, themed on "Building a Green, Ecological, and Livable City for the New Era," brings together 77 exceptional works from distinguished artists spanning senior, middle-aged, and younger generations across China. Artists conducted three separate field trips to the Xiongan New Area for sketching and inspiration, employing diverse Chinese painting techniques such as gongbi (meticulous realism) and xieyi (freehand style) to focus on the spirit of Xiongan's builders, the new urban landscape, and its ecological beauty. The artworks are categorized into three main types: figures, urban landscapes, and flower-and-bird paintings. The pieces not only inherit and carry forward traditional brush and ink techniques but also innovatively express the spirit of the times, allowing audiences to perceive the innovative vitality and green wisdom of the "City of the Future" through artistic appreciation.
