Shares of NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA) soared 8.7% on Thursday, following the release of the company's robust second-quarter earnings report and forward guidance. This impressive rally in the stock price has correspondingly led to a substantial increase in the personal wealth of its CEO, Jensen Huang.

According to Forbes estimates, Huang's fortune grew by approximately $14.9 billion after Thursday's market surge, marking the largest single-day gain among all billionaires worldwide. This $14.9 billion increase has pushed Huang's total net worth to $196.1 billion, vaulting him to the sixth position on the Forbes rich list. In doing so, he has surpassed both Mark Zuckerberg, whose net worth stands at $195.6 billion, and Larry Ellison, who holds $193.6 billion.

While Huang's wealth was climbing, Zuckerberg experienced a $2.3 billion reduction in his net worth on Thursday, whereas Ellison saw his fortune increase by $2.4 billion. Ahead of Huang on the list is Michael Dell, who holds the fifth position. Dell's wealth grew by $3.2 billion on the same day, making his gain the second-largest of the day after Huang's, and bringing his total net worth to $243.4 billion.
