Tokenized Asset Value on XRP Ledger Surges Past $6.3 Billion

Stock News11:06

According to Woofun AI data, the total value of asset tokenization activity on the XRP Ledger has climbed to a record high of $6.3 billion.

This landmark figure signals that real-world assets (RWA) and stablecoins are occupying an increasingly central position within blockchain-based financial service systems.

This month, the total value of tokenized assets on the platform broke through the $6.3 billion threshold for the first time, then quickly pulled back and stabilized in the $6 billion range, indicating that the market entered a relatively steady stock-game phase after a brief spike.

At present, the XRP Ledger network carries a total of 423 types of RWA spanning different financial categories. The existence of these assets allows traditional investment products to enter blockchain-based markets, although their practical usability remains constrained by specific product terms, investor eligibility requirements, and complex legal structures.

Breaking down the structure behind this data reveals a dual-driven pattern formed by RWA and stablecoins.

Currently, the combined value of the 423 types of RWA on the network stands at $4.47 billion. Although this figure is lower than the previously reported total of tokenized assets, its 30-day trading volume reached an astonishing $7.03 billion, representing an increase of 1,458%.

Data compiled by Woofun AI shows that this rapid rise in trading scale reflects a sharp increase in the frequency of asset transfers, but high trading volume does not equate to an equivalent inflow of new capital, because the same asset may circulate among different accounts multiple times within the statistical period.

Meanwhile, the total amount of stablecoins held on-chain stands at $1.06 billion, and the total stablecoin trading volume over 30 days was $6.27 billion.

USD-pegged tokens represented by RLUSD allow users to transfer value without relying entirely on highly volatile cryptocurrencies, meeting various payment and settlement needs.

However, an increase in RLUSD transactions does not necessarily generate demand for purchasing Ripple (XRP), revealing a disconnect between stablecoin liquidity and native token value capture.

In addition, the categories of tokenized assets are broad, including commodities, credit products, financial products issued by the U.S. Treasury, private equity projects, and real estate.

Companies such as Ondo and Franklin Templeton (BEN.US) are also actively participating, bringing traditional investment structures into the blockchain environment, with each product having its own rules and access restrictions.

Although these digital records help enable asset transfers and ownership tracking, investors still need clear rights protection, reliable asset custody services, and well-developed secondary market support.

From the perspective of market mechanisms and future potential, a blockchain-based financial system is expected to build a market that surpasses traditional financial models.

Eligible transactions can be processed on public blockchain networks on weekends or outside normal trading hours, while financial institutions such as banks remain bound by fixed operating schedules.

This round-the-clock capability is one of the key advantages that makes the XRP Ledger attractive to institutional users.

However, network availability alone is not enough to guarantee widespread use. Whether an active market can form depends on whether participants can access suitable trading platforms and have sufficient liquidity.

Without liquidity, some tokenized products will not be able to achieve practical application.

At present, multiple currency networks such as XRP Ledger, XLM, and HBAR are all competing for market share in payments and other digital financial transactions, and each network has its unique features.

It is predicted that between $10 trillion and $150 trillion of assets may be placed on-chain in the future, but this is only the potential market size, not the number of users who can directly use the XRP Ledger.

For Ripple users, the core concern is whether increased trading activity on the XRP Ledger has substantially improved fee efficiency, enhanced liquidity, or made payment functions more convenient.

Only through longer-term data analysis can it be determined whether this growth trend will continue and whether it can truly translate into value support for the native ecosystem.
