According to monitoring data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the "200 Index" for agricultural product wholesale prices stood at 123.78 on March 9, a decrease of 0.67 points from the previous Friday. The wholesale price index for "basket of food" products was recorded at 125.70, down 0.79 points from last Friday.
As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in national wholesale markets was 17.06 yuan per kilogram, marking a 0.2% increase from last Friday. The price of beef was 66.28 yuan per kilogram, down 0.2%, while mutton was priced at 64.76 yuan per kilogram, a decrease of 0.4%. Eggs averaged 7.52 yuan per kilogram, falling 0.8%, and chicken was 17.46 yuan per kilogram, down 1.6%.
The average price for 28 key monitored vegetables was 5.02 yuan per kilogram, declining 1.6% from the previous Friday. The average price for six key fruits was 8.00 yuan per kilogram, down 0.7%.
Crucian carp was priced at 20.02 yuan per kilogram, up 0.8%, while carp fell 2.5% to 14.59 yuan per kilogram. Silver carp increased 0.7% to 10.72 yuan per kilogram, and large hairtail dropped 0.7% to 41.56 yuan per kilogram.
Among the 46 key varieties monitored in domestic fresh agricultural product wholesale markets today, the top five gainers compared to last Friday were zucchini, cucumber, onion, crucian carp, and large yellow croaker, with increases of 2.1%, 1.1%, 0.9%, 0.8%, and 0.8%, respectively. The top five decliners were scallion, wax gourd, asparagus lettuce, cabbage, and oyster mushroom, with decreases of 6.3%, 5.0%, 4.6%, 4.4%, and 4.1%, respectively.
