Mabwell (Shanghai) Bioscience Co., Ltd. has announced that it will present clinical data for its targeted Nectin-4 ADC novel drug, 9MW2821 (Bulumtatug Fuvedotin, BFv), at the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting in Chicago from May 29 to June 2, 2026. The presentation will include an oral report on Ib/II phase clinical study data for 9MW2821 in combination with toripalimab for locally advanced or metastatic urothelial carcinoma (la/mUC). Additionally, a poster presentation will feature II phase clinical study data for 9MW2821 combined with toripalimab for perioperative muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC). 9MW2821 is Mabwell's first site-specific conjugated ADC drug targeting Nectin-4, developed using the company's ADC drug development platform. It employs proprietary conjugation technology linkers and an optimized ADC conjugation process to achieve site-specific antibody modification. After administration, 9MW2821 binds to Nectin-4 on the surface of tumor cells and enters the cells, where enzymatic cleavage directs the release of cytotoxic agents, enabling precise targeting and destruction of tumors.
