On June 23, 2026, the 9,000th NIO Inc. power swap and charging station officially went online in Ankang, Shaanxi Province.
On the same day, multiple new Nio stations also commenced operations simultaneously in cities including Hefei, Tangshan, Wuxi, and Wuhan.
To date, Nio has constructed a total of 9,003 power swap and charging stations, having cumulatively provided over 200 million power delivery services.
The company leads the industry in the scale of both its battery swap station and charging pile infrastructure, consistently delivering a top-tier energy replenishment experience for users.
The Ankang Chengtou High-Tech Gymnasium swap station, serving as the landmark 9,000th station, was co-built by Nio in partnership with Ankang City Investment.
Nio has now collaborated with more than 40 partners, including urban and transportation investment groups, across 25 provinces, municipalities, and regions nationwide.
These partnerships, with entities such as Waneng Group Zhongan Energy, Wuhan Shouyi Group, Zhongde Kai Group, Changsha Economic Development Group, and Xi'an City Investment Group, have resulted in the construction and operation of over 550 co-built battery swap stations.
Additional co-built stations are scheduled for deployment in the future, continuing to offer users convenient and efficient energy services.
Nio's current national network comprises 9,003 stations, including 3,927 battery swap stations, 5,076 charging stations, and 29,255 charging piles, maintaining its industry-leading position in the quantity of both swap stations and charging piles.
This network includes 1,043 highway battery swap stations, forming a high-speed network that covers 9 north-south corridors, 11 east-west corridors, and 16 major urban clusters, connecting over 550 cities.
This extensive coverage effectively eliminates range anxiety for Nio and Ledao users during long-distance highway travel.
Concurrently, Nio has established 87 "Charging Scenic Routes," with plans to complete over 100 such routes within the year, continuously expanding the boundaries of user travel.
Following the completion of swap station routes along the G318 Sichuan-Tibet Line, Yunnan-Tibet Line, and Hexi Corridor, the Silk Road swap station route is also set to be fully connected in 2026.
This achievement will mean users can start from any Nio swap station nationwide and travel to any provincial-level administrative region in mainland China using only battery swap services for the entire journey.
NIO Inc. remains committed to significant investment in its charging and swapping infrastructure, planning to add more than 1,000 new swap stations in 2026.
The company will continue its strategic expansion with the goal of making energy replenishment more convenient than refueling gasoline.
