Li Jiaqi's Livestream Sells Out Mercedes-Benz Cars Instantly with Small Deposit

Deep News06-10 20:30

On the evening of June 10th, Li Jiaqi featured Mercedes-Benz vehicles in his livestream sales session. This marked the first time Li has sold complete cars in a live broadcast since obtaining his driver's license, and it was also the first instance of a new Mercedes-Benz series entering a top influencer's livestream room following its launch.

According to the livestream details, a total of 40 units of the new all-electric Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV and long-wheelbase C-Class sedans were listed for sale in Li Jiaqi's livestream. Both purchase deposit links sold out instantly upon being made available.

Reportedly, differing from the traditional offline car-buying model, this collaboration between Li Jiaqi's livestream and Mercedes-Benz innovatively introduced a transaction process of "online reservation + offline delivery." Consumers could pay a 3,000 yuan deposit to secure related benefits and had until September 30th to visit any authorized dealership nationwide for a test drive and to complete the vehicle pickup procedures. After finalizing the offline purchase process, users could upload their car purchase invoice to the Tmall platform. Upon approval, they would receive a physical red envelope subsidy worth 5,000 yuan from Tmall, ensuring the subsidy directly benefits the end consumer.
