The domestic commodity futures market opened with mixed performance in the night trading session on Tuesday, as precious metals posted notable gains while energy products faced significant selling pressure.
Shanghai Silver futures climbed more than 2%, leading the advance among industrial metals. Shanghai Tin followed with a 1.51% increase, while Shanghai Zinc gained 1.34% and Shanghai Gold advanced over 1%.
On the downside, energy and chemical contracts suffered sharp losses. Pure Benzene dropped 4.53%, Crude Oil fell 4.35%, Styrene declined 3.76%, and Fuel Oil slid 3.38%, reflecting a broad risk-off sentiment across the energy complex during the evening session.
