Amazon.com gained over 5% in premarket trading after reporting robust sales.
It reported revenue and profit that topped analysts’ estimates, buoyed by rising sales in its retail unit and significant cost-cutting. Q3 revenue gained 13% to $143.1 billion, and it projected sales of $160 billion to $167 billion in the quarter ending in December.
