The first phase of the 139th China Import and Export Fair, commonly known as the Canton Fair, is currently underway in Guangzhou. Chinese smart home appliance manufacturers are showcasing a variety of innovative products, attracting purchase orders from buyers worldwide. This initial phase of the event focuses on the theme of "Advanced Manufacturing," featuring sectors such as electronics and home appliances, industrial manufacturing, lighting and electrical equipment, hardware and tools, as well as vehicles and two-wheelers. Dongguan Qianhuanshiheng Industrial Co., Ltd. presented several novel products at the fair. "Our AI translation glasses are a popular item, supporting real-time translation in 165 languages to help users overcome language barriers and communicate more effectively," said Ge Yanting, the company's Sales Manager. Since its launch, the product has sold over 80,000 units and has been exported to numerous countries and regions. A buyer from South Korea commented, "The translation accuracy is impressive, the glasses are comfortable to wear, and it's exactly the product I was looking to purchase." Ge Yanting added that since the fair began, the company has secured orders from buyers in South Korea, Turkey, Mexico, Israel, and Vietnam. The company reported sales of approximately 300 million yuan last year, with overseas orders growing rapidly in the first quarter. Ge anticipates continued growth in international sales for the current year. At the exhibition booth of Guangzhou Chengzhi Intelligent Machine Technology Co., Ltd., several buyers from Russia showed keen interest in a tethered floating light. "Our tethered floating light can hover all night, features a lightweight design, is easy to use, and offers a wide illumination range, making it suitable for various scenarios such as outdoor activities, emergency rescue operations, and nighttime construction," explained Zhang Kai, the company's Vice President. In recent days, the company has reached tentative purchase agreements with buyers from Russia and Southeast Asia, with some buyers planning visits to the factory for further discussions. Liu Qing, the person in charge of the Shenzhen Zhongxingbang Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. booth, noted that their "holographic sphere"—a creative display device using LED spherical screen technology that creates images through rotational display—has garnered significant attention from international buyers. Liu highlighted that the company has established a comprehensive supply chain, with products exported to over 160 countries and regions. More than 70% of its orders come from overseas markets, with overseas sales growing by approximately 20% year-on-year. Data released by the Guangdong Sub-Administration of the General Administration of Customs of China shows that in the first quarter, Guangdong's total import and export value of goods reached 2.54 trillion yuan, marking a year-on-year increase of 19.4%. Exports of self-branded products saw a significant rise of 38%, accounting for 26.6% of the total export value. This trend reflects the ongoing transition of numerous Guangdong smart home appliance enterprises from "Made in China" to "Intelligently Made in China."
