On December 30th, the "Arts Empowerment, Boosting Development" special edition of the "Happy Art Hour" event to create a better CBD was brilliantly staged at the Beijing Fortune Shopping Center. The event was meticulously designed with four experiential sections—"Listen, Appreciate, Savor, and Smell"—constructing a multi-dimensional cultural consumption scene. The "Listen to Music" segment, featuring an open stage format and a carefully curated selection of cross-genre musical pieces, attracted large crowds who stopped to enjoy the performances, effectively gathering momentum within the business district and boosting on-site consumer activity amidst the music and applause. The "Appreciate Folk Arts" intangible cultural heritage market became the most popular photo spot. Inheritors of more than ten intangible cultural heritage projects showcased their unique skills on-site and engaged in friendly interactions with the audience. Many office workers experienced the charm of intangible cultural heritage thriving in the present day during the activities, and numerous exquisite handicrafts were purchased as New Year's gifts. The "Savor the Ink Charm" calligraphy message activity was filled with the fragrance of ink and a warm, flowing atmosphere. Calligraphers laid out paper and ground ink on-site, spontaneously writing heartfelt New Year's wishes and inspirational mottos on various delicate cards as requested by citizens. The "Smell the Flowers" themed exhibition introduced green aesthetics into the commercial space. A diverse array of freshly cut flowers was artfully displayed, collectively creating an immersive floral space that integrated viewing, experiencing, and purchasing, injecting vibrant vitality and natural beauty into the modern business environment. This event precisely targeted two main groups: white-collar workers in the CBD area and surrounding residents, exploring a sustainable path for the integrated development of "arts and commerce." It also provided a valuable platform for artists and folk art inheritors within Chaoyang District to directly engage with the public and showcase their talents. A representative from the Chaoyang District Federation of Literary and Art Circles stated that this event served as the first stop and an important exploration of the "Arts Empowerment, Boosting Development" five-entry series of activities. In the future, the District Federation will continue to deepen its "connection, linkage, and integration" working mechanism, more proactively connecting resources, more effectively linking different fields, and more deeply integrating with societal needs. This will promote literary and artistic services to continuously "enter parks, enterprises, government institutions, and grassroots communities," allowing the fragrance of arts to more profoundly and widely permeate the urban fabric and contribute artistic strength to the region's high-quality development.
