Stock Track | Planet Labs Soars 6.03% Intraday on Morgan Stanley Space 60 Inclusion and SpaceX IPO Hype

Stock Track04-14

Planet Labs Pbc's stock soared 6.03% during intraday trading on Tuesday, as the satellite imagery company benefited from renewed investor interest in space-related stocks.

The surge follows Morgan Stanley's release of its "Space 60" list over the weekend, which includes Planet Labs among four service providers using space for new business models. Analyst Adam Jonas noted that "space is back in a big way," citing scientific advancements, geopolitics and economics rekindling investor attention on the space theme.

Additionally, excitement is building around SpaceX's anticipated record-breaking initial public offering, which could value Elon Musk's rocket company at $1.75 trillion or more. The successful completion of NASA's Artemis II moon mission last week has further captured investor imagination, driving increased interest in space-sector investments.
