Essex Bio-Technology Executes Targeted Buyback of 9,000 Shares, Slightly Lifts Treasury Stock

On 14 September 2026, Essex Bio-Technology Limited repurchased 9,000 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HKD 2.03 to HKD 2.05, for a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 2.0361 per share. The aggregate consideration amounted to HKD 0.02 million.

Following the transaction, the number of issued shares excluding treasury stock fell by 0.00159% to 564.96 million, while treasury shares increased to 2.04 million. Total issued shares remained unchanged at 567.01 million.

The buyback was conducted under the repurchase mandate approved on 26 May 2026, which authorizes the company to repurchase up to 56.70 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now total 2.04 million shares, representing 0.36% of the issued share capital on the mandate’s approval date. In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, a 30-day moratorium on new share issues or sales of treasury shares extends through 14 October 2026.
