Sunmi Technology flags H1 loss of RMB65–95 million despite revenue rising to up to RMB1.80 billion on global expansion

Shanghai-based Sunmi Technology has issued a profit warning for the six months ended 30 June 2026, indicating a shift from profitability to loss even as sales increase.

Revenue Outlook • Management expects revenue of approximately RMB1.70 billion–RMB1.80 billion, up by RMB0.30 billion–RMB0.40 billion year on year, supported by continued global market expansion.

Earnings Reversal • The Group projects a loss attributable to shareholders of RMB65 million–RMB95 million, versus a profit of RMB15.93 million in the prior-year period. • The negative swing is mainly driven by: 1) Net foreign-exchange losses of about RMB80 million–RMB90 million amid currency volatility. 2) Listing-related expenses estimated at RMB45 million–RMB55 million.
