Lenovo Group Limited has completed the full conversion and subsequent cancellation of its US$675.00 million 2.50% convertible bonds due 2029, first issued in August 2022. From 10 September 2026 up to the latest announcement date (14 September 2026), holders converted an additional US$29.68 million—approximately 4.40% of the original issue—into equity at the prevailing conversion price of HK$8.37 per share.
The final tranche generated 27.79 million new Lenovo shares, equivalent to roughly 0.22% of the current issued share capital. With this conversion, no outstanding 2029 convertible bonds remain on issue.
Following the complete cancellation, Lenovo has applied to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange to withdraw the bond’s listing (debt stock code 5440). The delisting is expected to take effect after market close on 22 September 2026.
The company had previously executed partial repurchases and conversions, as well as issued an early redemption notice, culminating in this total elimination of the instrument from its capital structure.
