According to the CME FedWatch Tool, the probability that the Federal Reserve will keep interest rates unchanged in March stands at 99.4%. The likelihood of a 25-basis-point rate cut in March is 0.6%. By April, the cumulative probability of a 25-basis-point rate cut is 11.9%, while the chance of maintaining current rates is 88.1%. The probability of a cumulative 50-basis-point rate cut is 0.1%. By June, the cumulative probability of a 25-basis-point rate cut rises to 33.8%.
