SERES (09927) bucked the market trend with a gain of over 3%, rising 3.08% to HKD 113.9 by the time of writing, with a turnover of HKD 168 million.

Market sources revealed that HarmonyOS Smart Driving recently partnered with Shenzhen's transport bureau and other relevant departments to initiate a pilot test for conditional L3 autonomous driving in Shenzhen. Unlike conventional R&D testing, this pilot aims to validate the safety and product maturity of the L3 system for general users through real-road conditions and user data, providing practical insights for national L3 policy implementation.

Insiders disclosed that the pilot, jointly promoted by Shenzhen's transport bureau and development and reform commission, involves Huawei employees using their self-purchased 2025 AITO M9 and ZunJie S800 models. The test covers 1,000 km of highways and expressways across Shenzhen, with over 20,000 km of real-road verification already completed.

SERES is a founding core partner of HarmonyOS Smart Driving and a benchmark for the "Smart Selection Car Model." The two jointly developed the AITO brand, building an intelligent vehicle ecosystem. AITO is their first co-created brand and a core product line under HarmonyOS Smart Driving, with SERES serving as the exclusive manufacturer.

Recently, SERES reported November 2025 vehicle sales data, with total production reaching 58,900 units, up 30.36% YoY, and sales totaling 58,100 units, a 36.34% YoY increase. From January to November 2025, cumulative production stood at 460,400 units (up 0.73% YoY), while sales reached 453,100 units (down 0.52% YoY).
