This was an on-exchange active trade, meaning the shares were matched on the SEHK open market and constitute a direct dealing in the secondary market.

Prior to the acquisition, Davis Selected Advisers, L.P. on behalf of the investment funds it manages held 42.87 million shares in SANY HEAVY IND, representing 5.95% of the long position; following the acquisition, the holding changed to 43.87 million shares, with the long position ratio rising to 6.09%.
