Weimob Initiates Beta Testing for "AI Fitting" Application Powered by Alibaba's Tongyi Qianwen Model, Empowering Retail E-commerce Sector

Recently, WEIMOB INC (2013.HK) has commenced the beta testing of its "AI Fitting" solution. It is reported that this AI application is built upon Alibaba's Tongyi Qianwen large model and targets e-commerce retail merchants, with the goal of helping apparel brands and retailers utilize AI technology to provide consumers with a "what you see is what you get" immersive shopping experience.

Currently, for retail e-commerce brands, especially in the apparel industry, "high return rates" and "low conversion rates" are core problems that have long plagued merchant profitability. Traditional online shopping lacks a fitting experience, leading to frequent issues such as non-standard sizing and products not matching their descriptions. Weimob's AI Fitting feature directly addresses this pain point.

Some brand merchants participating in the beta test indicated that end consumers only need to upload a personal photo on the brand's mall to receive real-time clothing outfit suggestions. This is expected to not only help resolve consumer pain points in clothing purchase decisions but also assist merchants in improving conversion efficiency and reducing return rates, thereby achieving better performance growth.

It possesses combined capabilities such as "recreating realistic try-on effects" and "intelligent outfit recommendations." Weimob also plans to empower its B2B retail clients with this AI Fitting solution, with future plans to integrate its shopping assistant Agent with the AI Fitting capability. The AI shopping assistant can gain insights into user needs and provide intelligent recommendations based on season, material, and dressing style, realizing a "what you see is what you get" consumption experience.
