August 5th Agricultural Wholesale Price Index Rises 0.07 Points from Previous Day

Based on monitoring data from the agricultural department, the "Agricultural Wholesale Price 200 Index" stood at 113.49 on August 5th, marking an increase of 0.07 points compared to the previous day. The "Vegetable Basket" product wholesale price index reached 113.63, up 0.09 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the national average wholesale price for pork was 15.74 yuan per kilogram, down 0.2% from yesterday. Beef held steady at 67.41 yuan per kilogram. Mutton declined 0.5% to 64.39 yuan per kilogram. Eggs rose 0.2% to 9.86 yuan per kilogram, while white-feathered chicken increased 0.9% to 17.34 yuan per kilogram.

Among the 28 key monitored vegetables, the average price was 4.40 yuan per kilogram, down 0.7% from yesterday. The average price of six key monitored fruits stood at 6.94 yuan per kilogram, up 0.6%. For aquatic products, crucian carp was 20.22 yuan per kilogram, down 1.0%; carp was 14.52 yuan per kilogram, down 0.5%; silver carp was 10.23 yuan per kilogram, up 2.3%; and large hairtail was 41.58 yuan per kilogram, down 5.2%.

Today, among the 46 key monitored agricultural products at domestic wholesale markets, the top five price increases compared to yesterday were giant peak grapes, silver carp, spinach, bighead carp, and cucumbers, with increases of 2.4%, 2.3%, 1.9%, 1.5%, and 1.3%, respectively. The top five price declines were large hairtail, winter melon, celery, green peppers, and scallions, with decreases of 5.2%, 2.7%, 2.3%, 2.2%, and 1.9%, respectively.
