According to reports, the cybercrime unit of the Paris prosecutor's office is conducting a search of the French offices of social media platform X.
The Paris prosecutor's office stated that the investigation is being conducted jointly with the national cyber police and Europol, with the investigative work commencing in January 2025.
Neither X nor the Paris prosecutor's office immediately responded to requests for comment.
