Stock News10-14

According to IT Juzi, Gaowei Medicine has announced the completion of a Pre-A funding round worth hundreds of millions of yuan.

The round was co-led by Huatai金斯瑞基金 and Oriental Jiafu, with participation from Guofang Venture Capital, Ruili Investment, and Chuchang Fund. Existing shareholders Xinghua Dingli, West Lake Innovation, and GF Xinde continued to increase their investments, while Qifeng Capital served as the exclusive financial advisor for this round.

Public records show that Gaowei Medicine (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd. was established in 2022 and is dedicated to building a "high-dimensional biology + AI drug design" platform to provide innovative solutions for major diseases such as neurodegenerative disorders and tumors.

Its core pipeline, GW-01, is the first globally pioneering small molecule drug from the company's AI target discovery platform to enter clinical trials. It targets cancers activated by the Notch pathway. Relying on its self-built GROOVY platform, the company discovered novel targets and mechanisms of action. Both Chinese and U.S. clinical applications received accelerated approval, and Phase I clinical trials have been initiated and officially enrolled at multiple centers.

This funding round will support the development of the company's AI target discovery platform and external collaborations, the clinical research of GW-01, and preclinical research for new pipelines.
