The 2026 Appliance & Electronics World Expo (AWE) opened in Shanghai on March 12, featuring the debut of more than 1,000 new technological products. Innovations such as a stair-climbing robot vacuum, a companion robotic pet dog, and a smart door lock with over-the-air laser charging were showcased, all launching simultaneously on Tmall. Consumers can explore the exhibition online and make purchases directly by searching "2026AWE" in the Taobao app.

Notably, the stair-climbing robot vacuum from Dreame and the MOVA Pilot 70 flying robot vacuum made their domestic debut. LUKER introduced a smart door lock with laser charging technology, addressing battery life concerns. 603486 unveiled "Mao Tuan," a smart companion pet dog capable of affectionate interactions, now available on its Tmall flagship store. Additionally, 600690 is set to exclusively launch a three-drum washing machine on Tmall that cleans shoes without untying laces.

Beyond the groundbreaking products debuting at AWE, global home appliance and furnishing brands including Midea, 600690, Dreame, Yuan Shi Mu Yu, and Siemens have introduced over 150,000 new products on Tmall since the beginning of the year, setting a new record for new product launches.

At the AWE venue, Tmall created five trend-themed spaces under the concept of the "Future Home": Co-living with Pets, catering to harmonious human-pet coexistence; Joyful Balcony, transforming unused areas into personal retreats; Hidden Kitchen, maximizing space with multifunctional, all-in-one products; Flexible Living Room, featuring modular and customizable furniture for dynamic home layouts; and Serene Bathroom, designed not only for cleanliness but also as a space for self-care and mental relaxation. These spaces address contemporary lifestyle needs, upgrading home environments into personalized expressions of individuality.
