At the Create2026 Baidu AI Developer Conference held today, Baidu founder Robin Li shared his insights, stating that general-purpose AI agents are ushering in the next chapter of artificial intelligence.
Li pointed out that as AI technology advances, the capabilities of intelligent agents will grow rapidly, bringing about three significant changes: shifts in access points, trust dynamics, and organizational structures. People will increasingly delegate authority to AI systems.
In the future, within more efficient organizations, the number of employees each manager can oversee is expected to increase to over 30. The primary function of management will evolve to focus on alignment and coordination.
