The Z3 plot project in Beijing's CBD core area has achieved a milestone with the completion of its exterior curtain wall installation. Located in the Liugong District of Beijing CBD, the project stands at a planned height of 140 meters, featuring 29 above-ground floors and 5 underground levels, with a total construction area of approximately 175,000 square meters. The total investment is estimated at 5.25 billion yuan.
Construction commenced in April 2023, with the foundation slab completed in September 2023. The underground structure was finalized in January 2024, followed by the above-ground structural topping-out in December. The project is scheduled for final completion and acceptance in 2026.
The Z3 project's curtain wall spans approximately 50,000 square meters, incorporating a standard layer design of 4.5-meter-high unitized glass panels with horizontal stainless steel metal eaves. The tower crown features a 10-meter-high unitized glass system, with large-scale ultra-clear double-glazed panels.
Following the Z4 Minsheng Bank project, Z3 is the second ongoing project in the CBD core area to complete curtain wall construction. Positioned as an international Grade-A office tower, the Z3 project aims to attract global tenants upon completion, fostering high-quality corporate presence in the CBD. It is expected to enhance Chaoyang District's economic development by providing premium commercial space, boosting both economic output and regional value.
