China Southern Airlines Co., Ltd. (01055) announced that in December 2025, the Group's passenger capacity input, measured in available seat kilometers, increased by 11.89% year-on-year. This growth was driven by domestic, regional, and international routes, which rose by 6.81%, 2.80%, and 25.76% respectively. Passenger traffic, measured in revenue passenger kilometers, increased by 11.20% compared to the same period last year. Domestic, regional, and international traffic grew by 6.88%, 5.72%, and 22.77% respectively. The passenger load factor was 84.05%, representing a decrease of 0.53 percentage points year-on-year. Domestically and regionally, the load factor increased by 0.05 and 2.16 percentage points, while internationally it decreased by 2.03 percentage points. On the cargo front, cargo capacity input, measured in available tonne kilometers for cargo and mail, increased by 19.28% in December 2025. Cargo and mail traffic, measured in revenue tonne kilometers, rose by 10.86% year-on-year. The cargo and mail load factor was 51.95%, a decrease of 3.95 percentage points compared to the previous year. In December 2025, the Group introduced several new main routes, including Guangzhou-Jiaxing-Guangzhou (seven flights weekly), Guangzhou-Darwin-Guangzhou (three flights weekly), and Guangzhou-Madrid-Guangzhou (three flights weekly). During the same month, the Group added eight aircraft to its fleet, comprising three A320NEO, three A321NEO, one B737-8, and one C919 aircraft. It also retired two aircraft, consisting of one A321 and one B737-700. As of the end of December 2025, the Group operated a total fleet of 972 transport aircraft.
