On March 16, Lu Weibing, President of the Mobile Phone Division at Xiaomi, responded to a user comment on Weibo, stating, "We fully understand the price increases by our peers. Everyone is facing difficulties, and we are also feeling the strain."
Recently, due to tight supply of memory chips, there have been reports that several smartphone brands plan to adjust prices in mid-to-late March. Among them, OPPO and vivo have already announced price adjustments for some of their products.
