Yaosheng Town Enhances Efficiency of "Two Representatives and One Committee Member" Studios

Deep News12-12 09:01

In recent years, Yaosheng Town in Yijun County has consistently adhered to a people-centered development philosophy, focusing on grassroots governance and key tasks in public services. By actively integrating the strengths of local deputies, party representatives, and political consultative committee members, the town has strengthened planning and refined construction standards.

The "Two Representatives and One Committee Member" studios were established with high benchmarks, enriching the platforms for fulfilling duties and improving operational mechanisms. These studios serve as integrated, convenient "one-stop" service hubs, providing a solid foundation for representatives and committee members to engage with the public and perform their duties efficiently, thereby enhancing grassroots governance and service quality.

**Integrated Platforms Strengthen Governance Foundations** Following the principles of "practicality and proximity," the town has built discussion platforms. Leveraging Apple as a key link, a "Representatives and Committee Members" studio was set up within a production and sales service base that connects the entire Apple industry chain. Relying on village Party-mass service centers, the town adopted a model where representatives and committee members oversee designated areas, primarily their home villages while extending outreach to three or four neighboring villages.

Through field research, public discussions, and active participation in fire prevention, flood control, environmental improvements, and conflict resolution, representatives ensure their involvement is targeted and effective.

**Grid-Based Engagement Promotes Regular Duty Fulfillment** Under the principle of "proximity and complementary advantages," representatives and committee members at the county and town levels were organized into nine governance grids, each led by a convener. By combining scheduled receptions, household visits, and specialized research, they regularly engage with residents to address concerns.

This year alone, representatives have received over 100 public inquiries and resolved 127 urgent issues. Additionally, visits to Apple cultivation bases yielded four high-quality proposals, leveraging their exemplary leadership, strong organizational representation, and broad outreach.

**Collaborative Solutions Tackle Governance Challenges** The studios employ a coordinated mechanism where representatives and committee members lead multi-department collaborations. For policy-related inquiries, civil affairs and healthcare departments conduct "Policy Face-to-Face" sessions. Industrial challenges are addressed through discussions involving business representatives, technical experts, and relevant authorities.

For disputes, a "mediation by representatives + judicial guidance + village assistance" approach is adopted. Over the past year, representatives have resolved 45 complex conflicts, tackling long-standing issues effectively.
