Industrial Economy in Hanjiang District Achieves Strong First Quarter Performance

Deep News04-21 06:31

The industrial sector in Hanjiang District has started the year with robust momentum. In the first quarter, industrial invoice sales reached 27.5 billion yuan, marking a 9.5% year-on-year increase. This growth rate places the district among the top performers citywide, exceeding the municipal average by 5.2 percentage points.

At the facility of Jiangsu Fengshang Intelligent Technology Co., workers are diligently assembling components. The company reported first-quarter invoice sales of 1.716 billion yuan, a surge of 19.8% compared to the same period last year, with its overseas business growing by 24.3%. In Weiyang Economic Development Zone, key enterprises such as Jiangyang Cable, Luosiweier, and Yangjie Technology have provided stable support. The zone achieved industrial invoice sales of 10.335 billion yuan in the first quarter, an increase of 31.9%, making it a significant driver of the district's industrial growth.

Companies are accelerating their transition towards high-end, intelligent, and green manufacturing. Yangjie Technology, recognized on a national list of exemplary smart factories, has leveraged digital systems to increase its order fulfillment rate to 98.5%. The firm's first-quarter revenue grew by over 30% year-on-year. As a leading player in the microelectronics industry chain, Yangjie Technology exemplifies both corporate strength and supply chain influence. Hanjiang District has prioritized the development of its microelectronics sector, which now boasts an industrial scale exceeding 20 billion yuan. In the first quarter, 45 major microelectronics enterprises saw an average sales growth of approximately 12%.

Digital transformation is enhancing production efficiency across key industries, including microelectronics, equipment manufacturing, bio-health, and automotive parts. Hanjiang was recently designated a pilot district for digital transformation among small and medium-sized enterprises. Future efforts will focus on two industrial clusters—numerically controlled machine tools and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in the automotive industrial park—with plans to digitally upgrade 83 pilot companies.

Supportive policies are strengthening the foundation for advanced productivity. Jiangsu Chengchuang Intelligent Equipment Co., after being recognized as a provincial-level advanced smart factory, received a 500,000 yuan reward from the district government. Two years ago, the district's industry and information technology bureau assisted the company in developing a tailored digital transformation plan, helping it achieve provincial specialized and innovative SME status.

Hanjiang has launched a new three-year action plan for intelligent and digital transformation, backed by an annual special fund of 30 million yuan. This initiative aims to create a supportive development model centered on标杆引领 (benchmark leadership), comprehensive diagnostics, and policy guidance, fostering a more dynamic and resilient industrial economy.
