Industry Insights: MLCC Release Film
The MLCC release film industry faces high barriers to entry, with the global market predominantly led by Japanese and South Korean firms. The top five companies collectively hold nearly 87% of the market share, with Toray Industries being the global leader. The high-end segment has long been monopolized by overseas manufacturers. Currently, domestic producers still lag behind their international counterparts in terms of the flatness of high-grade base films and the stability of release agents. The future development of release agents is expected to trend towards environmental friendliness, presenting opportunities for domestic manufacturers to grow through technological breakthroughs and enhanced supply chain autonomy.
