The company known as American Bitcoin (ABTC) has announced it will release its financial results for the second quarter before the U.S. stock market opens on August 3, 2026. A conference call and webcast to discuss the quarterly operational and financial performance will be held at 8:30 a.m. on the same day.

This platform, which focuses on bitcoin accumulation, is controlled by Hut 8 Corp. It combines large-scale proprietary mining with a systematic accumulation strategy, aiming to provide institutional-grade bitcoin exposure for investors. The firm recently completed its listing on the Nasdaq stock exchange. Eric Trump serves as its Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer, and Donald Trump Jr. is a shareholder.

Looking back at the first quarter, the company reported revenue of $62.1 million. This represented an increase of approximately 400% compared to the same period last year, but was lower than the $78.3 million recorded in the fourth quarter of 2025 and fell short of analyst expectations. The net loss for the quarter was $81.7 million, an improvement from the $100.6 million loss reported a year earlier. During Q1, the company mined a record 817 bitcoins and added a further 803 through strategic purchases, bringing its strategic reserve to over 7,000 bitcoins by the end of March. The cost to mine each bitcoin dropped to $36,200, marking a 23% improvement from the previous quarter.

Following the earnings announcement, the company's stock declined by 1.6% in after-hours trading to $1.23. Year-to-date, the share price has fallen approximately 26.5%.
