The Gansu trading delegation organized 34 offline exhibitors and set up 42 booths, bringing together specialty agricultural products, deep-processed Longyao medicinal products, and various light industrial goods for a concentrated showcase.
This year's third phase of the Canton Fair takes "Better Life" as its theme. In the Canton Fair's rural revitalization exhibition area, the booth of Tianshui Nonglian Qianmo Trading Co., Ltd. drew a steady stream of buyers.
This is the company's second appearance at the Canton Fair. At this edition, the enterprise expanded to four booths, packaging Maijishan Grottoes culture, Huaniu apples, and Tianshui specialty foods into a distinctive industrial cluster representing the hometown of Fuxi, presenting it as a whole to the international market.
Tianshui's Maiji District established the state-owned agricultural enterprise Tianshui Nonglian Qianmo Trading Co., Ltd., which has continuously enhanced the added value and market competitiveness of Huaniu apples through standardized production area management, professional cold storage warehousing, and other standardized operating models.
In 2024, the company was successfully selected into Gansu Province's foreign trade enterprise incubation pool and made its debut at the 139th Canton Fair.
"When we exhibited last time, we had very little foreign trade experience, and our multilingual product promotional materials all had to be polished page by page under the guidance of the provincial trading delegation staff," the company's manager recalled.
Drawing on the experience from the previous exhibition, the company quickly completed its full set of export qualifications after returning, building a full-chain traceability system covering fresh fruit picking, standardized sorting, cold-chain warehousing, and cross-border shipping.
With targeted support from the Gansu Provincial Trading Delegation's foreign trade incubation mechanism, the company introduced small trial-size packs of Huaniu apples and malatang prepared products with varying spice levels tailored to the consumption habits of different countries and regions, prepared multilingual promotional materials, and developed differentiated promotion and cooperation plans for key markets such as Southeast Asia and Europe.
The growth and transformation of Tianshui Nonglian Qianmo Trading Co., Ltd. is a vivid microcosm of how small and medium-sized foreign trade enterprises in Gansu are leveraging the Canton Fair to compete in the international market.
Relying on the Canton Fair as a national-level window for opening up, more and more Gansu enterprises are taking their signature products and regional culture abroad, continuously demonstrating Gansu's openness and industrial charm on the international economic and trade stage.
