Trump addressed the situation in Cuba, stating, "No, it will not escalate."
The former president made these remarks to reporters at Joint Base Andrews.
"Today is a very important day," Trump commented regarding the U.S. indictment of Raúl Castro.
"We are liberating Cuba," Trump added.
He indicated that the United States would soon issue a statement concerning the oil embargo on Cuba.
Trump also stated that the U.S. would assist Cuba during this period.
He described the actions toward Cuba as "not the biggest thing we have done."
