RIMBACO (01953) announced that Zhongyi Capital Limited, a licensed corporation authorized to conduct Type 1 (dealing in securities) and Type 6 (advising on corporate finance) regulated activities under the Securities and Futures Ordinance, has been appointed as the independent financial advisor. The appointment, approved by the independent board committee in accordance with Rule 2.1 of the Takeovers Code, will see Zhongyi Capital provide advice to the committee regarding the offer, particularly on its fairness and reasonableness and whether it should be accepted.
