Ciena (CIEN.US) shares surged more than 9% in Wednesday trading, leading a broad rally among optical communication stocks.
Other notable gainers included Lumentum (LITE.US), which advanced over 6%, and Coherent (COHR.US), which climbed more than 4%. Credo Technology (CRDO.US) rose over 5%, while Marvell Technology (MRVL.US) and Corning (GLW.US) each gained more than 5%.
